As a designer, I feel extremely lucky to have been raised in the 90s. The advent of the World Wide Web, new and more advanced gaming consoles, like the Nintendo 64, and the renaissance of animation were culminating in an explosion of graphics and I took it all in.
Together, these were the things that shaped my love of discovery, imagination, and creativity; and before I even knew what design was, I was drawn to this world and I wanted to emulate everything I saw. My mind was constantly swirling with new ideas as I was bombarded with inspiration and I couldn’t stop myself from endlessly creating. I couldn’t get ahold of art supplies fast enough in order to keep up with whatever new project I just had to make next.
